Delete your RoofGo account
Last updated October 2026
You can delete your RoofGo account yourself, in the app, at any time. If you cannot sign in, ask us by email instead.
In the app
- Sign in at app.roofgo.com/go/account (or open Account in the menu).
- To remove only yourself, choose Delete my account.
- If you own the company, choose Delete company account, or Transfer ownership to someone else first if the company should carry on without you.
By email
Send a request from the email address on the account to support@roofgo.co. We will confirm the request comes from you, and then delete the account within 30 days and email you when it is done.
Deleting your login
- Deleted: your login, name, email address, phone number, photo and password. You are signed out everywhere and can no longer sign in.
- Kept by your company: properties, estimates, notes and door statuses you created belong to the roofing company you work with. They stay with it and show “Former user”.
- An owner must transfer ownership or delete the company account before deleting their own login.
Deleting a company account
- Straight away: the subscription is canceled (any overage already used goes on a final invoice), everyone on the team is signed out, and homeowner links to your estimates stop working.
- After 7days: we permanently delete the company’s properties, homeowner details, estimates, door statuses, mailers, pricing, branding and team logins. If you asked by mistake, reply to the confirmation email before then.
- Backups: copies in database backups expire within 30 days after that.
- Kept: invoices and payment records, which Stripe and we must keep for tax law, and a record that the account was deleted and when.
- Download your data first from Account if you want to keep it.
Homeowners
If a roofing company added your details to RoofGo, ask that company to delete them. You can also write to us at support@roofgo.co and we will pass your request on and help the company act on it. More in our Privacy Policy.
